39th Annual Make It to the Line 4-Mile Run/Walk & 1-Mile Fun Run
The turkey's been carved, the cookies are gone, and the wrapping paper is (mostly) cleaned up. Now it's time to get moving.
Make It to the Line was born from a simple idea by our late owner, Pat McClellan: after all the food, family, and festivities of the holidays, sometimes the best gift you can give yourself is to get off the couch, get outside, and get active. Pat believed that fitness didn't have to wait for a New Year's resolution — it could start the day after Christmas, with friends and neighbors, one step at a time.
This year, we lace up in his honor and carry that spirit forward. Whether you're chasing a personal best in the 4 mile or walking off the holiday ham in the 1 mile fun run, this race is for everyone — seasoned runners, first-timers, families, and anyone who just needs a reason to move.
So shake off the sugar cookies, lace up those new running shoes santa brought you, and join us. Pat's challenge still stands: no matter your pace, just make it to the line. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Perdido Key Secret Santa program—helping local families in need with gifts at Christmas, clothing, and food.
Packet Pickup - RACE DAY ONLY
Saturday, 26 Dec - 6:30-8:30am
At the Flora-Bama (in the tent)
We will not be doing early Packet pick up on the Friday before due to the holiday (Christmas day). Packet pickup will be day of race only.

4-Mile Run and Walk
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29
30-39, 40-49, 50-59
60-69, 70-79, 80-89
90+
Awards
4-Milers – Only 1st place will be awarded for both male and female in all age groups for both the Run and Walk.
Special awards will also be given for Overall Male, Overall Female runners and walkers.

The First 600 participants through the finish line will receive a Medal!
Awards must be picked up race day.

Post Race Party
Join us for a breakfast buffet and beverages are available to participants immediately following the race in the Flora-Bama. Those 21+ will receive (2) complimentary draft beers following the race!
A 7.5% sales tax is collected on all registrations, as required by Florida law.
